Don’t be fooled by laboratories offering “analytical scans” of your product with the hope of ruling out any Pesticide, fungicide, or plant-growth regulators (PGR) used in the cultivation of Cannabis that could be present after processing.
Residual levels of these potentially dangerous chemicals can be unsafe to consume, especially through vaporization or smoking. Accelerated uses only fully validated and reproducible analytical techniques. No Scans Here!
While no pesticide residue tolerance limits have been established specifically for Cannabis we have reasonable references to draw from. The Oregon white paper entitled “Technical Report: Oregon Health Authority’s Process to Determine Which Types of Contaminants to Test for in Cannabis Products, and Levels for Action” has provided a guideline to decide which pesticides to screen for that pose a risk to consumers.
Our validated multi-residue pesticide analyses are performed using GC uECD or UHPLC with triple quad mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) so as to ensure the lowest levels of detection. Currently, we offer two pesticide screens our first offering the below list of compounds and our second analyzing for over 500 compounds. We are able to analyze most of our compounds at part per billion (PPB) concentrations.
Accelerated Labs offers this service for all Cannabis products. If there is a specific pesticide or agricultural chemical that you are interested in testing for, please Contact Us and our scientists will build a method of analysis for you.
