Cannabinoid Profiling

Accelerated Cannabis Laboratories provides a full cannabinoid profiles using UPLC-DAD. The test determines the presence/absence of fourteen of most important cannabinoids as recognized by the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists and measures the concentration of the each. Data obtained from this analysis can identify strain and tests for presence and potency of the psychoactive compounds found in samples.

Our method has been developed to analyze the five most commonly tested compounds: Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (9-THC), Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), and Cannabinol (CBN), as well as the less commonly tested for, Δ8-Tetrahydrocannabinol (8-THC), Cannabidivarin (CBDV), Cannabigerol (CBG), Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), Cannabichromene (CBC), Cannabichromenic Acid (CBCA), Cannabidivarinic acid (CBDVA), Cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), and Tetrahydrocannabivarinic Acid (THCVA).

For an in-depth analysis of samples to assist in breeding programs, help product differentiation, and support usage recommendations, Accelerated Labs can provide a detailed, validated cannabinoid profile analysis quantifying the following 14 cannabinoids::

  • Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA)
  • Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC)
  • Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA)
  • Cannabidiol (CBD)
  • Cannabinol (CBN)
  • Cannabigerolic acid (CBGA)
  • Cannabigerol (CBG)
  • (±)-Cannabichromenic acid (CBCA)
  • (±)-Cannabichromene (CBC)
  • Tetrahydrocannabivarin acid (THCVA)
  • Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV)
  • Cannabidivarin acid (CBDVA)
  • Cannabidivarin (CBDV)
  • Cannabigerovarin acid (CBGVA)

In addition, Accelerated can identify additional cannabinoids using triple Quad mass spectrometry, MaldiTOF and Diode array detection scans to help identify additional cannabinoids and compounds of interest to clients.
